- Jim26 - 11-20-2000 Does anyone know where I can find a wine called Navarro? I would like to order some for the Holidays. - Bucko - 11-20-2000 Navarro is a winery, not a wine. They make many wines that have good distribution. Bucko - raggedy1 - 11-20-2000 give this website a try if you can't find it locally: http://www.winevin.com/ The site is called Wine Searcher.com - NikoChow - 11-20-2000 Funny you should ask. I am currently renting a house from one of the daughters of the original winery owners. And it gets even funnier. Just today I signed up for their pre-order realease program. They ship out 6 bottles of wine from their collection, one shipment in june and one in November. Look them up. - winoweenie - 11-21-2000 NikoChow, welcome to the board. Before Drew jumps in let me say if`n youse lets me know when you gets` your 1st 6-pack, I`ll be happy to drop by and help you giggle your way thru them. winoweenie - Drew - 11-21-2000 Rat-pa-tooties....foiled again!!!!! Drew - Drew - 11-21-2000 Here's a link to the winery. navarrowine.com Drew - thewoodman - 11-21-2000 Navarro is in the Anderson Valley of Mendocino County. They're best known for their Pinots, Reisling, gewurtz and Chards. I htink they sell a large part of thier production at the winery and through mail. I only rarely see a limited selection in stores. I just got a mailer with the latest releases. - winecollector - 11-22-2000 Isn't there also a Navarro grape, mainly grown in Spain? I think I have some red navarro wine from 1990. I'll check on the spelling and see if it' not the same. |
