I usually encourage shopping close to home. But for those of you who can legally order from out-of-state wine retailers and who buy by the case, Carolina Wine Company has some specials going on that may be too good to pass up. I'm thinking about the Byron Pinot Noir (I like Byron) or the Kreydenweiss Pinot Blanc (if I can try it this Saturday) but have bought a lot of wine lately and don't really need to be buying by the case.
These wines are also available by the bottle at about $2.00 more per bottle so I will probably buy two or three of the Byron Pinot Noir, and one or more bottles of the N.Z. P. N. or Alsace Pinot Blanc if I can try them and like them.

Under $20 case sale

'01 Bryron Pinot Noir $14.99 per by the case; normally $28

'00 Greenhough "Hope Vineyard" Pinot Noir at $14.99 per by the case (New Zealand)
