My husband and I will be passing through the CA wine country next week on the way to his Mother's wedding. Does anyone have any suggestions for wineries that we shouldn't miss. We have been to Mondavi, V Sattui, and I believe Beringer before I had much of an appreciation for wine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there TINAJ and welcome to the board. You didn't say how long you'd be in the valley so here's my suggestions; If you're going on a day trip, and coming in from the so end of 29 stop 1st at Cosintino. Next would be White Hall Lane. Flora Springs has opened a tasting room next door to St. Helenna Wine Merchant. Then try Markham and then Sterling where you ride the tram up the hill. That should give you a nice days work. If you're staying longer, re-post and I'll add the ones on Silverado Trail on the East side of the valley. WW

Thanks for the advice, WW. We will actually be coming in from the North (so I assume we should follow your list in reverse), and will only be there for the day.
