I AM PLANNING TO USE OAK CHIPS DURING THE FERMENTATION PROCESS OF MY CABERNET. IS THIS OK AND IF SO, HOW MUCH DO I USE IN A 52 LITRE GLASS DEMI AND FOR HOW LONG.

Hi Gentileg, and welcome to the Wine Board. Home wine makers that come to this board generally tend to check out the Home Winemaking thread only. So, I'm going to move you to that tread. In doing so, will have to lock you up here. Hope you don't take offense.

Hi Gentileg. If you investigate the activity on this thread, you'll see that this board is not a hotbed of home winemakers. The participants are generally people who enjoy commercial wines, and some even (believe it or not) tend to look askance at wines made at home or in a U-Brew.
(You mean you actually DRINK that stuff ????? )
I would recommend www.winemakersworld.com for this kind of question. They have a discussion board there too.
