- Blue - 03-16-2001 Have any of you purchased either of these "wine games?" They include a number of scents but are quite expensive ($100 for the former and up to $500 for the latter). Do you know any good places to buy them? - Bucko - 03-16-2001 I have the Le Nez du Vin Master Kit plus the Le Nez du Vin, The Faults of Wine Kit. You can find them for $459.99 and $130.99 respectively. Expensive? Depends on what value you place on them. I purchased the kits to review several times before I took the CA State Wine Judge Certification Test. I easily passed. Did the kits help? I am convinced that they did. I also do wine writing. The scents help to make an aroma memory bank, aiding in the proper adjectives to use in my articles. I purchased mine from: http://www.aoweb.com/index.html I received prompt and courteous service and recommend them. The site says that the scents last for 10 years. How long have you had yours? Can you attest (at least somewhat) to this? Thanks-- RAD - Bucko - 03-23-2001 Only a year or so, thus I am not qualified to attest to more than that. I find the kit well worth the money to me, for reasons mentioned above. Bucko |
