Any info on wine to look for in budapest and where to buy it?

My first thought was to say, buy Hungarian wine in Budapest because that is where you will be............

However, I would suggest that when you are in Budapest you sample the local foods in the local restaurants. Have your waiter or wine captain suggest the wine for you and make note of their suggested pairings.

As you discover the wines you like, then check with the local folks on purchasing information. Buy 'em and bring 'em home with you!

I've never had the pleasure of tasting an Hungarian wine. However, I've done a small bit of research and have read that their wines can be quite good.

Enjoy!
