For a change of pace (continuing to break my recent CA cab/OZ shiraz rut), something a bit different. Deep purply red with an almost opaque center. Pronounced blueberry nose with some toasted oak and vanilla. A shot of black cherry midpalate. Medium to full bodied, with a fair amount of tannins and a moderate-length finish. Alcohol 13%. Available at the winery for $29.

Even better with a roasted chicken dinner, a loving wife, and Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" on the CD.

God, but that does read a bit sappy after the fact!

Bucko, can you stand in for a dentist?
