Was on a little tryst in Phoenix this past weekend so I don't have detailed tasting notes. Sorry.

As you would suspect from this feminine wine the tannins were there but didn't attack the senses. It's one of the few Bordeaux blends that you don't need food with to enjoy the wine.

It had deep berry fruits of blackberry and currant followed by chocolate and cedar with little dusty notes in the end.

It was completely balanced with no over-riding tones of anything. Alcohol at 13.5% was in check and it was perfect with the chocolate covered strawberries!

I know they used the "traditional" bordeaux grapes but I can't remember the percentages.

This is one spectacular wine that I think will go another year or two before it begins it's decline.

I have one half-bottle left which I will consume before the end of this year. It's just too good to let it go!

I had this about a year ago and also thought that it was a very attractive wine at that time. Nice that you have some left!
