Opened way too young so it's good we paired with New York strip steaks. Deep black/purple. Rustic and chewy with deep dark berry and chocolate flavors, black pepper and spice. Very delicious and a perfect match with the meal. 13.5% Alc/vol. $15.

1)Any petite sirah that you would recommend?
2)What is a good food match with petite sirah?

Hi Denny, and welcome to the Wine Board. Most PSs need considerable (5-10 years) of aging. One that is very good and approachable on release is the one from Bogle. Look for the current release at around $10-12. Match with pepper steak, spicy barbeque, and rich red meat stews.

We usually answer questions the first time they are asked around here; so you don't have to do it twice.
