100% from Symphony grape. (Had earlier tried symphony/pinot blanc blend from Ironstone which I did not particularly like).
Really enjoyed the Symphony Late Harvest. Bought a 500 ml. bottle at about $20 to take back home with me (it's almost gone already).
I feel this was a good price for a dessert wine of this quality. 12% alcohol
Light color. Botrytis cinerea (sp?) Brix at harvest: 38 residual sugar: 17 brix
Nose: peaches, jasmine petals, Riesling-like botrytis
Flavors: peaches, dessert grapes, faint spice
Nice lingering finish. Sipped alone or with an eclair or chewy caramel candies. Bottle suggests pairing with poppyseed cake, biscotti, or creme brulee. I think it would be a particularly good match with creme brulee. Winery uses grapes from Lodi, California district.
