- Bucko - 05-19-2001 Petite Sirah - always nice foil for pizza (no pineapple this time). In this case, the 1990 Stag's Leap. Still youthful appearing, with black fruit and a touch of menthol on the nose and palate, moderate but tolerable tannins, and very nice acidity on the long, fruity, somewhat dry tannic finish. Overall, a very nice Petite that still has many years of life in it. Would be great for BBQ as well. Bucko - winoweenie - 05-20-2001 As usual Bucko, one of the best PS in Calif. WW |
