While I like some of the stuff coming out of Chile, and find Carmenere to be an interesting and generally good QPR wine, this one wasn't very good. Leathery dark fruits with a bitter, acidic finish. Move along, nothing to see here. Alc. 13.3%. Paid $9 locally and won't look for it again. Our "house Carmenere" from Morende is much better.

I'm the opposite of you, Dan, I generally find Carmenere not to my liking but maybe haven't tried enough.
