2002 King Estate, Domaine Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon, $50, 1,060 cases. Here is a pretty classic example of what Oregon Pinot Noir can achieve. The nose is a mélange of complex plum blueberry, black cherry, nutmeg, and cedar aromas. Full and rich in the mouth, layers of complexity unfold, then linger endlessly on the finish; 92/92.

Sounds like my kinda drink, and if I can't get it here in Atlanta, it just so happens that Anne and I will be visiting Oregon wine country before the offline in August

Sure hate the tariff though. I see some of the discounters have it for $42.

Yeah, that price creep with Oregon Pinot is getting annoying, and the recent Pinot boom with Sideways and everything can't help matters, as when demand goes up . . .
