13.5% alcohol comes with a screwcap
Deep garnet color, some transparency.
Viscous texture.
I ordered this after tasting the 2005 at a Fayetteville Wine Society event but got the 2006 instead of the 2005 I was expecting. I don't think I like this vintage as well.
Mixed berries nose with cherries in the lead. Almost a cherry pop nose. Flavor of cherries and cranberries with a faint suggestion of spice (maybe cinnamon).
Pretty much one note but a suitable patio or picnic summer sipper. I had it with a baked chicken breast/brown rice/grated cheddar cheese dish two nights and with tacos on July 4th. Paid under $20 a bottle.
