- barnesy - 09-18-2000 Over the last couple of nights, I have been enjoying a 1998 Ste. Chapelle (Idaho winery) Syrah. It has a strong, tartish fruity aroma with a smooth fruity entrance. It is medium bodied with a nice light plum color. The finish is medium dry with a very fun peppery kick. It was quite different from the Rosemont Shiraz which had a little less fruit and a lot more of the pepper up front. Overall, it was a very enjoyable bottle. Barnesy Yes, I did knowtice that I mispelled Syrah in the topic title. Just a pre-emptive strike before the feeding frenzy starts [This message has been edited by barnesy (edited 09-18-2000).] - winoweenie - 09-18-2000 Barnsie, They be none of the lil` sweetharts whom frequent this here berd that wuld pernt out yer deficienceez in spellin`. We`re far too sophisticated, urbane, and nonchalante to notice any such small travesty. winoweenie - Innkeeper - 09-18-2000 And there is no way (that I know of) to correct a topic. - mrdutton - 09-18-2000 Short of deleting it and starting over..... |
