Walla Walla winery using Columbia Valley grapes. This red blend likely has Cab, Syrah, and Merlot in it, but nothing on the label indicates percentages. The name is a tribute to winemaker Eric Dunham's dog Port, who was rescued as a puppy after nearly being killed by another dog, though lost a leg in the process. Deep, reddish-purple color. This was an easy to like wine that is full of red berry aromas and flavors, with a somewhat jammy taste and prickly spiciness on the finish. Velvet in texture and wrapped up in some tannins the first night (they subsided considerably the second evening). A hint of smoke on the finish. Alc. 13.7%. Paid about $20 for it locally. We'd like to try more from Dunham this summer.

Sounds nice and I like the story about the rescued dog.
