2007 Knapp, Estate Grown, Cayuga Lake, Cayuga White ($9.95 at winery). Alcohol level: 12%. This wine was fairly well off dry, but not as sweet at their Vignoles we recently enjoyed. It was also Riesling like, but not quite as much so as a recent version from Jewell Towne here in NH, having more citrus tones than stone fruit.

It gave flavors of lime and oranges on the nose and upfront. There was more and varied fruit in the honeyed middle, and the finish lingered nicely.

We matched it with roast pork, couscous, and corn on the cob. It all went very well together.
