- wondersofwine - 10-06-2009 Synthetic cork. 12.5% alcohol by volume. Blend of 42% Pinot Blanc, 39% Chardonnay, 19%Riesling. Some pear and mild oak notes on nose and palate. Drinks smoothly. Harmonious and pleasing on the palate. Appears to be quite versatile with food. I enjoyed it with stuffed-pastry appetizers (spinach, beef) the first evening and will have it with chicken tenders tonight. - Thomas - 10-06-2009 That wine seems always to be taken over by the Pinot Blanc in the blend, which isn't a bad thing at all. - wondersofwine - 10-06-2009 Agreed, Foodie. |
