For the price of a Duboeuf or Jaffelin Nouveau ($8.99 currently), this one offers more substance and less overwhelming fruitiness. Still a transparent ruby in the glass, but offering more "umph" with dinner of lefovers of turkey etc. In a truly anachronistic bottle - clear glass, with no tint at all. Keep it in a dark and damp mushroom environment and it might show some legs beyond Christmas.
