- AxisOfBeagles - 04-28-2008 Buddy of mine has the benefit of a TiVo system, so we've taken to the habit of wathcing the F1 races - at a civilized hour - at his place. Yesterday afternoon gathered there to watch the Spanish GP (go Kimi!). To accompany the homemade panninis his wife made, I brought a bottle of a very inexpensive Beaujolais - the '05 "Domaine des Nazins" Brouilly, from Georges Duboeuf. Had bought this earlier this year at Total Wine for the reasonable price of $9.99. The wine is probably at or near peak right now. Resolved, but with warm fruit and spicy nuances. An easy drinking, pleasant Beaujolais - and at a price that makes it even easier to drink. - wondersofwine - 04-28-2008 Good find, AOB. |
