Dom. de la Tour du Bief. Pulled this oldie from a bottom rack; a survivor of the cellar's pre-refrigeration days, when summer temps in there could reach 90F. Color is darkening and becoming a bit cloudy in the glass, but the juice still has a good nose. The palate is of bruised fruit, without a hint of Duboeuf's banana flavoring from that period. Spotted several more bottles of his cru wines in the gloom, so will try to remember to give them playing time over the next few weeks, before they fade off to la-la land. 13% alc/vol and probably $8 on release.
