- barnesy - 03-22-2001 Picked up this one for the wife. 1999 Calahan Ridge White Zin Dark pink colour. Sour apples on the nose and also on the palate. Very good, for a white zin. Actually had some flavor besides sweet and had some body. I didn't knowtice any residual Sugar. Had a refreshing acidity and the tartness was quite interesting. Barnesy - Bucko - 03-23-2001 You're talking about the S. OR winery, right? They do a nice job. Bucko - cpurvis - 03-23-2001 B, haven't had a white zin in ages, but I've read some of the past threads from WC & others suggesting that there are good ones. So, did you drink it with or without food? A decent pairing? cp |
