2008 Tempier Rose vs. 2008 La Bastide Blanche Rose.

The Tempier was $30, the Bastide Blance was $20.

Tempier: Mineral-driven. Bone Dry. Cherries. Something slightly herbal. Super long finish (shockingly long--never experienced anything like it in a rose). Complex. Great Balance. Victoria Tennant in L.A. Story

La Bastide Blanche: Fruit-Forward. Crisp. Oranges and Strawberries. Gently sweet. Sarah Jessica Parker in L.A. Story.

Claire and I preferred the Tempier, Others preferred the La Bastide Blanche.

Both terrific.
