Languedoc wine.
Had a glass of this in the bar area of Charleston Restaurant in Baltimore prior to an Orioles game. I asked the bartender the grape variety because in the past I have not liked Grenache Rose'. He assured me it was 100% Syrah. ($9.50 by the glass at one of Baltimore's fancier restaurants).

Taste of raspberries. Served chilled which I welcomed on a hot July day, but not too much nose with the chilled wine. Had to really put my nose down into it to pick up red fruit scents. This was not spicy in the way some Syrah wines are, but was a very pleasant summer wine that would probably be a bargain if purchased in a wine shop. I would buy a bottle or two if I came across it.
