Thought I had posted on this vintage earlier but couldn't find it. Austere in the glass, almost like vodka; a bit of grass on the nose, more like a NZ SB than a Sancerre. Sharp acidity hits the tongue, followed by a bit more grass and subtle wildflowers on the palate, bracing in its clean freshness. Young yet, could do with some bottle age, but delightful with shrimp gumbo and fresh corn on the cob. 12.5% alc/vol and about $18.50 by the box from Spec's in Houston back in June.

That one rang a bell - it's four posts back, and it sent me to the store back then.

You're so right, Thraz.
