My next to last bottle of this delightful Pinot Noir Rose. I believe it was 12% alcohol by volume. Salmon or "Eye of the Partridge" color. Some sediment (it's not filtered) so I had to pour the last glass through a filter. Nose of red berries and pink grapefruit. Taste of red fruit. Some resemblance to a pink champagne (made from pinot noir grapes) without the bubbles. Rather lingering finish for a rose wine. Had planned to drink it to accompany a Cornish hen with cranberry chutney but couldn't find a Cornish hen at the grocery store so had it with a chicken/rice/broccoli/cheese dish. Pricey at regular of $24.99 but I got two bottles on sale for under $20 each. Francois and Pascal Cotat (brothers)are two of the top Sancerre producers.
