$16 at Wine Merchant in St. Louis

Very nice wine. It's a dry Chenin with a whisper of sweetness in the background. This is just the second 04 I've had, and like the other (Champalou) this vintage seems maybe a tiny bit lean, but very lively. There's some depth here though, more than the Champalou. TONS of minerals, and the finish has a bit of peach and even a little walnut. Very refreshing and tasty. Good buy! I could see this aging nicely as well.
On such limited tasting it's hard to make judgements, but it seems like the vintage will end up very nice. Not quite the '02, but much better than '03.

(Bernard Fouquet's Domaine des Aubuisieres also makes some of my favorite affordable bubbly.)

Sounds like my kind of wine!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look for this one too!
