Well back from Disney World, man what a ride, thunderstorms everywhere. Had a great time, except for one thing, the price that those crooks get for their wine. Now I know in Rome you do as the Romans do, and one should expect higher prices, but WOW!
I retained the price list from the Cal. Grill wine list. There are 94 wines on the list and they cover just about all the common know varieties. They do not offer, other then a taste, any of the bottle wine by the glass. The "house" wines are the run of the mill types and are offered at $7.75 per glass.
I can't list all the bottle wine but here's a sample;
98 Frog's Leap, Napa Sav Blanc $30.
97 R. Mondavi "SLD" Napa Sav Blanc $48.
98 Weinbach Riesling "Schlossberg" Alsace $65
98 Saddleback, Napa Chard $48.
97 MtEden "Estate" Santa Cruz Chard $84
97 Stag's Leap Petite Syrah, Napa $55.
98 De Loach "Saitone" Russian River Zin $50.
98 Flowers Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir $65.
97 Vine Cliff, Napa Merlot $55.
97 Saddleback, Napa Cab Sauv $70.
96 Clark-Claudon, Napa Cab Sauv $125.
97 Jadot Fluerie Beaujolais $38.
As I said these are only a few off the list. I am not close to being any kind of expert but these puppies were out of my league.
I haven't heard of some of these but would entertain any comments about them.
We did get a glass of 94 Iron Horse "Millennium", Green Valley on the house because of our 25th wedding aniv.
The food at the places we did eat was very, very good. All things considered the meals that we had were not bad for prices being top-notch names in the park.
We did have a truly wonderful time and were very glad we went.
Well I'll stop Mickey Mousing, around, won't act like I'm from Pluto and try not to be Goofy anymore.
Regards, Chuck

Looks like the wine program has changed. Prices do look steep. What a shame.
The place I know sold so much wine that they had to have everything bottled in magnums just so the staff could keep up with it. Many of these were custom made for this place only.

Dogwalker, you must have gone to the Florida Dizney. They couldn`t get away with those prices in Calif where even the super-hot joints never go over double retail. Too bad that the powers down there don`t see the value in pricing wine to SELL rather than some dumb mark-up number that was postulated in the 60`s. Curmy hated this type of merchandising. Those wine prices are obscene.
