Hey dananne, being as you're an Atlantian I wonder...Isn't there an Ikea store somewhere in that neck of the woods? I'm going to Disney first week of Aug, driving (again) and will be passing through town with a little time on my hands. Should arrive south of you in Perry at the Holiday Inn around 3p. So...if you know, is Ikea near I-75 anywhere on the route south. (or better, north), ? I'm still looking for racking and they wanted 300 to deliver a 62 dollar rack. Crazy, huh!? Eh, just thought I'd pose a query. I think they listed one in Chitown too. I simply don't get out much.
Happy day, WP

As you're traveling South on I 75 into downtown Atlanta, you'll exit at 17th Street. Turn right (West) at the end of the exit ramp onto 17th St. You'll pass a big shopping complex called Atlantic Station on your right, but continue straight. You'll basically run into the IKEA. Coming out, just follow the signs back to I 75/I 85 South (I 75 and I 85 merge through downtown Atlanta). It's extremely simple and painless, and it won't give you any problems. You can probably see it from the highway it's so close.

If you hit it on the way back, you'll still exit on 17th Street, only you'll now turn left (West) off the exit ramp onto 17th Street. Same directions apply from that point, only you'll look for signs to I 75/I 85 North coming out from the store.

The store is huge, so be forewarned

Happy travels!

Dan
