If there is such a question..... Didn't know where to post this, so this is as good of a place as any. Dad tells me that you are in the cpt business. I found an old thread that said your mill is in Dalton, Ga. I don't know if he told you, but I've been in the flooring business for about 10 yrs. Just curious, do you mind any details?

Foodie's in the wine business, and has been for years. Winoweenie is the carpet dude. See, kids just never listen.

CG I've been in the rag biz fer goin' on 34 years.I was a partner in a mill in Cartersville Ga ( Commander Cpt Mills) until my partner and I sold out to Stratten in 1978. Since then I've been west coast manager for several mills (11 Western States) including Image, Sheridan, and presently Grass Tex and Lonesome Oak. Used to Do aall of Calif so I could make my 8-10 pickups in Napa and Sonoma yearly. Now I personally travel San Diego, Palm Springs, and Las Vegas. Have a very select and small
account base consisting of 21 or 22 of the largest stocking dealers in the aforementioned towns. Recently expanded my territory to include Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. WW

Sorry, I was tired. We deal with Shaw, Mohawk, Gulistan/stevens, Beaulieu, and Milliken. I think that's about it. It helps pay the bills until i can get into my passions in life, food and wine... and of course my family

I'm glad we got that straightened out. I was getting confused; especially when I tasted a wine last night that had the aroma of linoleum and a mouthfeel of shag rug...

Was that a filament or spun yarn Foodie?. Bye-the-Bye CG those are the same 3 dudes everyone in the biz are forced to deal with.WW

WW, I don't have a choice on that, I work for the big orange box doing flooring installs. As far as I'm concerned... none of them are all that great. They all have their ups and downs. I ended up with a Royalty cpt myself.

Sorry 'bout the mix-up foodie. I was up pretty late reading alot of old threads. KC tells me I can learn alot from ya'll.
