Suggestion: You might want to explore all the postings we've had about wine pairing with BBQ. Just use the link above (above right) for SEARCH. Type is BBQ or barbecue and select the Wine/Food Affinities forum and timeframe (any date). The results will take you to dozens of postings on this subject. Lots and lots of good advice.
