I for one intend to put on my very best sincere face and ask the supreme weather Gods to plese let up on Drewski. As he's fragile and sensitive anywhoos this pattern of slamming him every 3 to 4 days just as hims gits the bloomin' 3 mile driveway cleared is not FAIR!!!! Just for the record we're not fairing too well ourselves as we are set for another rain bout here in the valley today. Down to a very chilly high of 60. WW

Posted some new pics from this morning on Garr's board at the below link. We're fairing ok with spirits high, and tasty . Round 2 is starting now. On a serious note pray for our elderly, disabled and unfortunate.

Heard this morning the National Guard has been called out in the D.C. area to assist locals.

I know it's really rough on a lot of people in the nawth-east right now.... but I'm grateful the dad-burn Congress shut down! That should save us a few bucks.

I've had enough of this snow! I can only cook, clean, and watch tv so much...school is starting to look good after being cooped inside for two days.

Well, we're doing just fine up here, and I suppose IK is also. Too bad some of Drew's and Georgie's white stuff isn't falling out in Vancouver.

We were very fortunate in that 1. We didn't lose power. 2. No wind or water damage to the house 3. Our county did a wonderful job clearing the roads. 4. No reports of our neighbors falling sick or injured due to the two storms. 5. Vehicles performed well...and lots of food and drink on hand.
My officers where I work stepped up and kept our campus safe and secure with very minimal damage (3 minor leaks). Several spent many days around the clock during the span of the two storms and not a peep of complaint.

Georgie, if school is beginning to look good to you, think how it must look to the parents of several school-age children!

The thought raises goose-bumps on my goose-bumps. WW (P.S. Wish you could see the mity Eileen shoveling the 4 miles of driveway while Drewski mans that heavy camera)

Got back to Boston today and was worried that I would have to dig to get home but it looks like we escaped most of the snow.

Well its snowing in Texas. Hell froze over after all. Even though its not sticking, I still think this weather sucks. Id rather it stick and see a winter wonderland than sleet and dark clouds. When that happens here, the entire town operates at 50% capacity.

Drewski's liable to be charged with spousal abuse by the NAGs and other such bra-burners. Them femininininininininininistas can be killers!

- Georgie - 02-14-2010

Yes, being cooped up WITH the kids would be WAY worse!
