- wineguruchgo - 11-27-2003 FYI! There is a guy out there selling under the name The Buzz Shop who is bad news! I bid on and won 3 birdhouses. In his really fine print he said that it was $19.95 for shipping, which I thought was outrageous, but I bid anyway. When I contacted the guy he then told me it would be over $40.00 for shipping! Is he out of his freakin' mind?? I refused to pay it. If you bid on Ebay, stay away from this guy. He gouges on shipping! - Bucko - 11-27-2003 I never go there. - Drew - 11-27-2003 I've used Ebay many times. Most with good results, a couple bad. Drew - Thomas - 11-28-2003 My wife just bought something on EBay; she did not get what she was told she was going to receive, and her credit card was charged twice for the sale. Like Bucko, I do not go there--and I think my wife won't go there anymore. - Georgie - 11-28-2003 I've bought about three dozen items from e-bay over the past few years. I've NEVER had a bad experience. - Glass_A_Day - 11-30-2003 700 positives in my feedback. Very few issues. Buy everything there I can. Thanks for the heads up on "The Buzz Shop". - ShortWiner - 12-01-2003 I use it now and then. No problems so far. - wondersofwine - 12-01-2003 I've had more good than bad experiences. Have ordered some art prints and sports memorabilia (mostly Joe Montana and Steve Young). Two art prints were a little disappointing but were delivered. I tried to order some stuffed animals in Harley Davidson gear for a couple who ride Harleys. Also ordered one cute stuffed animal for myself. I paid, but none of the three animals was delivered. E-mails to the seller went ignored. I wrote three complaints under his business name on E-Bay. |
