You made a good choice between wine and pain pills, Georgie. I always feed the pills to the drain monster.

Don't judge Pinot Grigio by the Woodbridge... look for Tommasi at your favorite retailer. I picked up some at Costco a couple of weeks ago for $10.99. Haven't seen that price since 1999, it's usually $11.99-$12.49.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look for it. I'm with you as far as those pain pills go. Frankly, they scare me. I have a friend who is on them constantly for a back injury suffered in a car accident. She ran out of them once, and well, to put it mildly, it wasn't pretty. I wouldn't take them unless I was desperate.

I like to wash the pain pills down with a good wine myself -- lots of over-hype there for sure.

I'm always glad to get a second opinion, Doc!

They sent me home from the hospital on the 1st with 30 Tylanol III. I took one the first night because I thought I was supposed to. Still have the other 29 and will feed them to the drain monster.

the pain meds are always my last resort, although with the migraines I get, sometimes there is little alternative. Bucko- in dogs the most common meniscal injury is to the medial, anterior. What is the most common in people? Georgie- I too, would pick a good glass of wine instead. mmmmm. WD

Nary a clue..... I just try to diagnose them and turf them to the Ortho bunch.

Hope it starts feeling better soon, Georgie!
