I mean it, but what is wrong with that? On all the News programs today from GMA on to Fox, et al; they said "Happy Holiday." Who in America has a problem with Happy Thanksgiving?

Damned PC has run amok!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. If you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, have a good day anyway.

- Glass_A_Day - 11-24-2004

Indeed. Right back at all of you!!!

- Kcwhippet - 11-24-2004

This is a true non-sectarian national holiday, so what's the big push for PC? We hope everyone out there has a great Thanksgiving. Peace to all!

I'm not afraid of being politically incorrect for saying: "Happy Thanksgiving".

I don't know why anyone wouldn't celebrate the day for it's all about giving thanks that your family is well, you have a warm, wonderful home and love is all around you.

You don't have to thank or praise any particular GOD today because it's not a religous holiday. It's a day for Thanking each other.

And besides - almost everyone is off all or part of the day!

Enjoy everyone! I plan on overindulging with great food, wonderful wine and a lot of laughs!

Brother-in-law at dinner told a really funny story.

They were in a skiing lodge in Colorado a number of years ago. Everyone was having a great time and of course they were a little loud.

A woman next to him started to complain and as he only would he went to tap her on the head with a pillow. Unbeknownst to him the pillow had wood on the back of it and he ended up bonking her on the head with it! Needless to say she wasn't pleased and they couldn't stop laughing!

LOL! Something tells me "her" story is a tad different than his!

Do some of these channels broadcast in Canada or other foreign terrains? We went to Ontario yesterday, and it certainly wasn't Thanksgiving there! (We did go to Hillebrand and Strewn wineries, however....)

Happy Thanksgiving to all indeed! Back from the ranch, where we stuffed on turkey and all the trimmings, counting our blessings. Beautiful. Relatives down the road had 21 inches of rain so far for the month; pastures awash, creeks out of their banks, but all noses accounted for. Love it.
