Hey Hotwine, where in Texas do grapefruits grow?

I've been getting Texas grapefruits for my morning juicer and they are spectacularly good. Much better than any from Florida or California that I've had.

Mostly in the Valley but wish you were closer as I have a GF tree with the best red fruit you've ever tasted and I have to pay the Gleaners 10 bucks to clean out about 3-500 of these suckers every season. WW

WW's right, they are grown in the Rio Grand Valley, especially in the McAllen/Mission area. They're plentiful at El Mercado, the farmers' market in downtown San Antonio.... and all local supermarkets have them.

Well, as I say, they are the best I have ever tasted for juice.

Glad you enjoy them. Here's a Website that lists contacts for several shippers in the Valley:
