- Innkeeper - 05-24-2005 The latest WS has a feature article on "little visited wine regions." One is the Finger Lakes. They report on places to stay, restaurants, and wineries. The mentioned Gene's inn and that there was a winery there, but nothing else. Boo!! - hotwine - 05-24-2005 Yeah, I saw that. They gave the same sort of treatment to the Texas Hill Country wineries. I guess if a place doesn't have a left coast address, it just doesn't rate with the speculator. - Thomas - 05-25-2005 That's part of it Hotwine; the other part MIGHT have to do with advertising revenues. In fairness, although I don't know why I must, mags like that do seek to write about products that are available nationally--even if the ones they rate at the top are often unavailable anywhere... I was hopeful the Finger Lakes article would be more detailed about the wonderful Inn at Glenora. |
