Princeton Township has more of a college feel now than it has ever had, but most of the student life is still kept on campus. (Aside from dorms, the infamous "eating clubs" still define much social life.) Most of the shops and restaurants in town still cater to yuppies and older, established bedroom-community residents, though things are changing slowly. Last time I was there, there were even some ethnic restaurants and cafes in town (and that hasn't always been the case in recent history).

For anyone going to P-ton, I highly recommend Chez Alice for patisserie treats! (Opera cakes!!)

The couple of times I have been in Princeton I have felt unwanted--but then, I did have long hair and bell-bottom jeans in those days...

Indian fry bread! You some kinda radical, or somethin'?

Long hair, bell bottoms, and other such fashions are increasingly visible these days on the Princeton campus...due more to the faculty than to the students!
