Another sloggy weekend. We did get enough of a break to smoke some baby back ribs yesterday, and daughter got some more plants into the ground for us, but it rained all night, will rain all day, and except for a break tomorrow afternoon, it will rain for the rest of the week!!!!

It's been sunny and warm here in western WA for about a week now. I fear that wemay get soaked all fall and winter for all the sun we are getting now. Will gladly trade afew days of rain for an indian summer out here. [img]http://www.wines.com/ubb2/smile.gif[/img]

We're having an terrible time here in Harford County, one of the worst hit. We got a little water in the basement but no big deal. Last thursday, though, a close lightning strike fried our bedroom tv so I bought a new LCD Saturday. Still raining as I type....sigh

Some of roads in MD looking just like some of ours during last month's deluge. Noticed that some were closed again yesterday. Sigh! Sigh!
