Why, the last of the 2000 Nouveau, of course!

Neither of us felt like cooking tonight, so we opted for an easy breakfast-style supper of the pancakes with Vermont maple syrup, bacon and coffee. The fading fruit of the Nouveau was salvaged by the blueberries, and the result was a very nice pairing.

I'm gonna miss that Duboeuf Nouveau! Easily put away two cases this time.

Kir Royalles with lots of Cassis? Barolo Chinato (a Port like amaro made from real Barolo), Myrto (made from wild Myrtle berries on Sardegna), Bellinis with lots of raspberries, Glugwein (actually made with blueberries?????
