I observed a moment of prayer at 08:43. We don't have enough staff to attend the chapel services and still keep the library open so I didn't join the group observances on post.
I will give thanks that the DA librarian Ann Parham survived her injuries suffered in the attack on the Pentagon and that Barbara Risser and others I know that were in the Pentagon that day were spared. Also thinking of all the brave first responders who were lost and their families and friends.
