Can anyone suggest a good wine to start out? I find that I don't like dry wines, but I do prefer a fruity, sweeter wine. So far, I have tried only reds.

I would start with a Zinfandel. Generally are the least dry reds. Rosenblum and Elyse make some pretty juicy bottles.

Hi MrJ2004 and welcome to the board. As stated above most novices tend to start with zinfandel, ONLY the white variety. Try the one from Beringer, Buehler or Sutter Home. Let us know your favorite. WW

Hi Mr. J.
If you want a fruity red, try a Beaujolais Villages, chilled.

IK will be so proud of you when he gets back, WW. Either that or he'll suspect some extraterrestrial alien takeover.
