- mrj2004 - 01-09-2004 Can anyone suggest a good wine to start out? I find that I don't like dry wines, but I do prefer a fruity, sweeter wine. So far, I have tried only reds. - Glass_A_Day - 01-09-2004 I would start with a Zinfandel. Generally are the least dry reds. Rosenblum and Elyse make some pretty juicy bottles. - winoweenie - 01-09-2004 Hi MrJ2004 and welcome to the board. As stated above most novices tend to start with zinfandel, ONLY the white variety. Try the one from Beringer, Buehler or Sutter Home. Let us know your favorite. WW - Glass_A_Day - 01-09-2004 Oh my WW. My first adult heart attack. If you want a fruity red, try a Beaujolais Villages, chilled. - winoweenie - 01-10-2004 Think about my keyboard GAD. I hate it whenced the IK leaves town.
