A french, a canadian, an american walk into a bar with a chicken on thier heads and the bartender says ' hey, whats with the chicken on your head?'... just kidding, I am hosting some nieghbors for the evening and thought I would turn it into a wine tasting night. Any suggestions on light bites with the following wines?
'98 Pouilley Fume
'98 Wolf Blass Green Label Shiraz
'98 Hogue Chardonnay
'98 Clos Du bois
Casual and small servings, its post dinner hour.

A wide variety, from sharp to mild, of soft spreadable cheeses, and a wide variety of crackers to spread them on. Would prepare some in advance and sprinkle them with paprika, fine herbs, etc. as appropriate.
