What a great QPR wine.
Nice ruby/purple, almost opaque with scents of blackberry,cassis and vanilla. Some "Napa" fruit flavors mixed with rich plum and dark fruit with just a touch of oak, and I do mean touch...much less than the '96 also not as tannic. Finish is smooth with good length. Good complexity to this wine although not as much as the '96 but far more food friendly. $7.99 and less by the case!
