Sampled today after a round of golf at my favorite wine store.

With angle hair pasta, red sauce and salad w/ balsamic vinegar and OO.

Clear, dark ruby. Somewhat muted nose of dried cherries, dark fruit and a touch of cinnamon. Like deep flavors, this is an over the top, BIG Sangiovese, with good balance, acidity, mouth feel and loooong finish. This wine was great with the meal and a good QPR for $10.99, 13.9% Alc/Vol.

Hi Drew-
I am not nearly as well versed in wine terminology as you, but all I can say about this wine is- Yum!! I bought it on a hunch and got lucky. Winedope.

The December 15 issue of Wine Enthusiast gave this beauty a 90 rating stating:

"This winery continues to make major strides. Of course, in such a ripe year, the fruit is lovely, bringing forth all sorts of berries, coffee, earth and spice. Supporting all of those sweet flavors are a soft voluptuous texture and near perfect tannins. This is the best regular Sangiovese ever from Atlas Peak."
