Marked down from $27.99 to $11.99.
13.5% alcohol
Deep crimson to burgundy color. Rosy red around the rim.
Very berry fruity on nose and palate. A nice tartness such as a purple plum not quite ripened. Has some texture and long finish. Attractive by itself. Could pair with pork dishes or roast fowl.
Back label says "bursting with rich aromas and flavors of dark berries and plum..." (I agree) "with earthy notes and a soft mouthfeel."
A bargain for $11.99. I may go back for more (from Harris-Teeter grocery store.)

This along with Saintsbury Pinot Noir and Steele Carneros Pinot Noir have been among my reliable grocery store Pinots. (Sometimes also Byron or La Crema.)
