The bottle's very dark label states "Maison Nicolas Reserve Pinot Noir"; only the secondary label states "Aged and bottled by D. de Virginie". Loads of fruit, firm body, nice finish, and at 12.5%, just the right amount of alcohol. And only $7.99! I'll try to buy more tomorrow.

Just a bit more information on this one: the winery is in the town of Beziers, on the Orb River in the Midi, about 20 miles inland from the Mediterranean coast. Pinot Noir is not a traditional varietal in the Languedoc, but this one is delightful.
Was able to buy four more bottles.
