Showing very well right now. Nose of smoky, gamey, bacon, dark fruits with a spicy, funky edge. Very dense, loaded with wood. tannins still a bit rough, tar, solid structure and a bit rough around the edges. Long finish, perhaps lacking in some complexity but gained some points for its power.

A marvelous producer that led me into Rhones with this bottling back in 80 with the 78 version. That was some powerful bottle of juice. WW
