I found the 04 (also the 02) syrah 7.99. Found both to be really nice. To me the peppery/spiciness seemed really subtle. Outstanding drinkability! Went looking for it specifically because of pulled pork on the Christmas menu following IKs lead from a while back and having another bottle tonight with leftovers. Maybe just me but I thought the 02 had a bit of taste from the synthetic cork kind of plastic-ish, could that be? Also picked up th domaine Chandon bubbly from the other thread, hope it makes it unopened till NY! Happy day WP
