Colchagua Valley, Chile.

Dark color, bordering on purple. Dark fruit and earth on the nose, along with toasty oak. The dark berry fruit hits the palate with spices on the entry and leaves with oak on the finish. Medium to heavy in weight, with full tannins that require decanting at this point. Better yet, let it rest for 3-5 years. New World in style. 14% alc. We paid about $22. FWIW, WE gave it a 91, Editor's Choice.

I agree with the resting potential.
Darn WE said drink it soon, I think, and I totally disagree.
Good wine, especially because up here it's more like $15-$18

Yeah, the WE note was the reason I opened it sooner rather than later. Grrr. You got a good price on it.
